Terms of Use for Numero Uno Research Consult (NURC)

Welcome to Numero Uno Research Consult ("NURC", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our main website (nurcghana.com), our research consulting services, and our secure client deliverable portal (work.nurcghana.com).

By accessing our websites, engaging our services, or creating a portal account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Our Ecosystem and Separate Agreements

NURC operates multiple digital platforms to serve our diverse clientele. While these Terms govern our core research and consulting services, specific branches of our ecosystem are governed by their own dedicated policies:

• NURC Pathfinder App: The use of our university admissions and scholarship tracking application is strictly governed by the Pathfinder Policy and Disclaimer, available here: https://www.nurcghana.com/pathfinder-policy-and-disclaimer

• NURC Academy: Our educational branch and digital campus (nurcacademy.com and student.nurcacademy.com) are governed by their respective Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies located on those specific domains.

2. The NURC Client Portal (work.nurcghana.com)

Our secure client portal is designed for the safe, transparent, and efficient delivery of commissioned research work, data analysis, and consulting deliverables.

• Account Access: Access to the portal is granted by our administrative desk upon the initiation of a project. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account access with third parties.

• File Unlocking and Access: Deliverables are hosted securely on our servers and are unlocked based on your payment progress.

  • Files categorized as "Main Work" may become partially or fully available for download once specific partial payment thresholds are met.

  • Files categorized as "Peripherals" (e.g., raw data, reference materials, premium add-ons) will only unlock and become available for download upon 100% full payment of the total agreed project cost.

• Interim Fees: During the course of a project, ad-hoc services (such as data collection fees) may arise. If these interim fees are applied to your account, file downloads may be temporarily suspended until the outstanding interim fee is settled.

3. Payments, Deposits, and Refunds

• Commitment Deposit: We require a non-refundable commitment deposit (typically 30% of the total project cost, unless stated otherwise) before any active research or consulting work begins.

• Payment Processing: All online payments are securely processed through our designated third-party payment gateway (Paystack) in Ghana Cedis (GHS).

• Refund Policy: Due to the intellectual and time-intensive nature of research consulting, payments made for unlocked and downloaded files are strictly non-refundable. If you choose to terminate a project before completion, you are only liable for the work completed up to that date; however, previous deposits and payments for unlocked tiers will not be refunded.

4. Academic Integrity and Ethical Use

NURC provides research assistance, statistical data analysis, proofreading, and structural guidance.

• Ethical Guidelines: Our services are designed to support and facilitate your own academic or professional work. We do not condone, support, or participate in academic misconduct, contract cheating, or plagiarism.

• Client Responsibility: Any deliverables provided by NURC are intended to serve as models, reference materials, or analytical breakdowns. Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that their final submissions to academic institutions or publishing bodies comply with their specific ethical guidelines and AI-usage policies.

5. Intellectual Property

• Client Ownership: Upon full payment (100%) of the agreed project cost, you retain the rights to the specific written deliverables provided to you.

• NURC Rights: NURC retains all intellectual property rights to our proprietary research methodologies, statistical models, coding scripts, and the software architecture powering our client portal and applications.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Numero Uno Research Consult, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of our services, portal, or downloaded deliverables.

7. Modifications to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document or by sending a notification through the client portal. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
